Competition and Demonstration Jump Rope Team

The Skip Wizards Jump Rope Team of Jefferson, MD was founded in 1986 by Valley Elementary School Physical Education Teacher, the late Mr. Neil Keller.  The group was originally put together to give children something to do after school.  Ages of participants range from 7 to 21 and grades 2 through 12, and into college.  Jumpers learn routines from other jump organizations and camps in the summer, and also choreograph their own routines.  The team has grown over the last 20 years to its current level of 41 jumpers.

History
